How much do permanent roofline lights cost?
Our permanent lights start at $2,700 for the front of the home (Essential), $3,600 for front, sides and garage (Signature), and $4,900 for every roofline (Estate). Can you see permanent lights during the day?
Barely. The lights are low-profile and come in white or black, so we match them to your trim and they blend in under the roofline. Most people only notice them once they're turned on.
Will installation damage my roof or gutters?
No. We mount the lights to the fascia, soffit or under the gutter, never through your roof shingles. Our parent company, I&S Gutter Cleaning, has worked on gutters and rooflines for 5 years, so we know how to install without harming them.
Do permanent lights hold up in Chicago winters?
Yes. The lights are fully waterproof and rated for snow, ice, rain and freezing temperatures, so they stay up and keep working through a Chicago winter.
How do I control the lights?
From an app on your phone. Pick any color, set schedules, or choose a ready-made theme for Christmas, Halloween, July 4th or game day. They also work with Alexa and Google Home.
What does the warranty cover?
Your lights include a 2-year manufacturer parts warranty, and we cover installation labor for 1 year. If anything stops working, text us and we'll take care of it.
Do I need an outdoor outlet or an electrician?
You don't need to arrange anything. Most homes only need one outdoor outlet, and we handle all of the power, wiring and setup as part of your install.
How long does installation take?
Usually 1 day for a smaller home and about 2 days for an average home. You don't need to be there the whole time, and we test every light before we leave.
Can I install permanent lights if I have an HOA?
Yes. We'll give you photos and product details to submit for HOA approval, and we're happy to answer your HOA's questions.
